傑出事蹟：

  1. 從事核磁共振波譜及成像，和分子影像在生物醫學上的應用。發表過70 篇論文。
  2. 近年來，研究領域亦包含利用納米粒子作靶向性藥物，包括顯影劑及癌症化療藥物的運送。靶向性藥物經由細胞膜上的受體對納米粒子的內吞，而達到對腫瘤更靈敏的，更精確的診斷。
  3. 利用納米粒子克服腫瘤對順鉑（Cisplatin）的抗藥性。
  4. 成立Howard University 生物醫學核磁共振實驗室及分子影像實驗室。
  5. 2007 年起擔任中國國家納米中心客座教授，並致力於中美納米技術及納米安全的合作。
  6. 26 項科研計劃主持人，研究經費來自包括NIH, DOD, USDA 及Monsanto Company。
  7. 一項核磁共振專利NMR Image Test Phantom, U. S. Patent and Trade Mark Office patent No. 4,618,826.
  8. 2008 年Howard University 傑出教授科研獎。
  9. 2010 年Howard University 科研日 資深教授論文組第一名。
103學年度起由理工學院聘任王教授擔任本校之特聘講座教授，王教授共教共學課程「醫學影像」，與電機系曾乙立老師合授，107學年度起由電機工程系續聘王秩秋教授擔任兼任講座教授。
