
Through the reunion held by the Alumni Association, the University's special case practice and industrial internship exhibitions are also held to promote cooperation and exchanges between the industry, alumni and the department. It will also enable students to further understand the current technological development trends fin order to shorten learning-practicality gaps, and therefore strengthen the employment competitiveness of this department. In addition, through this activity, the centripetal force between the alumni and the department can be condensed, so that the department can obtain more funds to improve the teaching equipment and learning environment, encourage teachers to research and enhance cooperation with the industry to improve the effectiveness of teaching research and academic reputation.
The department has already handled a number of alumni reunions during these years. The senior alumni have also helped the students at school to have the opportunity of the company’s internships and corporate visits, as well as provide technical assistance and talent training. At the same time, weekly lectures are held to invite senior alumni to introduce their careers, which may help students understand their professional applications, career interests, industry trends and workplace environment. The department hopes to establish a better mechanism for contacts with alumni, and leading to mutual exchange and assistance. Therefore, the graduates can have more resources to exchange and support each other. Through the activities of the Association, the emotional links can be enhanced to create a win-win situation. Graduating alumni are also the way to promote publicity. Through various activities and opportunities of contacts with alumni, the school's teaching characteristics and outstanding performance can be understood more by the society and industry and academia.
The department has two kinds of funds, namely, the award fund and the development fund of the department. The former is used to aid students to learn and enhance international competitiveness, while the latter is used to enrich equipment and conduct academic activities. These two funds are mainly from the generosity of the alumni, and play a role in carrying forward protegea, regardless of the amount of donations.
